In today’s rapidly changing business environment, IT organizations such as ours continually struggle to ensure that services meet customer requirements.  Having well-defined and well-documented service management processes with measurable performance indicators for benchmarking can help ensure efficient use of resources and help ISD focus on business-critical services.

Over the last few years, ITIL, which has been around for more than a decade and comes with little risk, has rapidly become the framework of choice around the globe to help improve service delivery and support. ITIL has met or exceeded user’s expectations, helping them improve service levels and the cost of delivering IT services among many other benefits.

Based on the number of opportunities that surround ISD daily, ISD is embracing the ITIL model.  The ITIL model is to be implemented over the next five years to meet the requirements of our customers.
