ADOA awards contracts for telecommunication services

ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION AWARDS CONTRACTS
FOR TELECOMMUNICATION CARRIER SERVICES
The Arizona Department of Administration’s Enterprise Procurement Services Division (EPS) has
awarded contracts resulting from state solicitation EPS060014-A6 for Telecommunication Carrier
Services.
The contracts were awarded to meet the telecommunication carrier needs of the state
telecommunications program (AZNet), the political subdivisions, municipalities and special districts
that make up the State Purchasing Cooperative. These contract awards followed strict federal
procurement requirements and coordination with the Government Information Technology Agency
and the Department of Education, making it easier for schools and libraries to obtain federal “e-rate”
funding to help pay for Internet access and programs for Arizona’s children.
The contracts are available online at www.spirit.az.gov. The name for this set of contracts is
“Telecommunications Carrier Services” and the number for the set is “EPS060014-A6.” For further

AT & T – for all Arizona counties
Cox Arizona Telecom – for all Arizona counties – except Coconino, Greenlee, Mohave and Navajo
Mountain Telecommunications, Inc. – for Cochise, Coconino, Gila, Graham, Maricopa, Pima,
Pinal, Santa Cruz, Yavapai and Yuma Counties
Qwest Communications Corporation – for all Arizona counties
Strategic Technology Communications, Inc. – for La Paz, Mohave and Yuma Counties
Telespectra, LLC – for all Arizona counties – except Mohave
WI-VOD Corporation – for Apache, Coconino, La Paz, Pima, Yavapai and Yuma Counties
